Saturday Street Style: Cold Weather Chic

As temperatures continue to drop in the District, us Washingtonians are scrambling to stay warm! The transition from spring to fall is finally here and we are trading in our light coats for winter jackets and iced coffee for hot coffee. At least, to me, thats what the transition means. I know its officially fall when I order a hot coffee!

Today I took Saturday Street Style to Cold Weather Chic in the coffee house and visited the hottest new coffee house in Logan Circle, Slipstream.

The trendy new hot spot, Slipstream, is a coffee house by day, cocktail bar by night and boasts a vibrant cool setting. Good music is pumping through the restaurant making it very upbeat which I really enjoyed and the baristas were outgoing and friendly. They have a great selection of coffee to choose from and a variety of how you can have it served, as well as a brunch menu, coffee cocktails, and other specialty drinks. Pictured below are the Reko Cappuccino and Mocha, which were both fantastic. For brunch, we ordered the French Toast and Brioche Eggs Benedict with Pork Belly- totally delicious! We also tried the Raspberry macaroons which I think were the best macaroons I've ever tasted. I highly recommend you check out Slipstream for coffee and brunch as soon as you can!!
