Hello, Fashion Friends!
I have recently started to notice and take great liking to murals and street art around DC. I find murals and street art as a hip art form and creative expression. It baffles me how they are designed and implemented at such large scales, so I have mad respect for mural and street artists. My favorite mural in DC is of the legendary Elizabeth Taylor at the Dacha Beer Garden in the Shaw neighborhood.
As Elizabeth Taylor is one of my idols, I thought it fitting to take Saturday Street Style to admire the glamorous actress and pay respect to DC street art. Stay tuned for future posts of DC street art, and in the meantime- remember to look for beauty and art around you. Sometimes we are so zoned into what we are doing that we often forget to stop and smell the roses.
