Saturday Street Style in Georgetown

Writer's picture: Dani SauterDani Sauter

Happy Saturday, Fashion Friends!

Today I took Saturday Street Style to the heart of Georgetown. To be totally honest, I actually had other ideas for today's post, however logistics were a bit of an issue so I decided on Georgetown in the spur of the moment. If you know Georgetown, you know the hustle and bustle there is real. To avoid the crowds of Saturday brunchers, shoppers, and tourists, I decided to stay off M Street at all costs and browse the back streets that sometimes get forgotten with all the popularity of M Street. This quieter area of Georgetown reminded me to take a step back, take in the scenery, and enjoy the beauty around me. When you are caught up in the hustle and bustle of life, remember to step to the quieter side streets and find your internal peace. It also reminded me that last minute decisions can sometimes be the best decisions since you have little room to second guess yourself and avoid overthinking. The next time you're in Gergetown, I urge you to step off M Street and see the beauty and tranquility that lies on those cobblestone side streets.
