FAB Friday: All About Austin

Today's FAB Friday is All About Austin! Austin, TX that is. This afternoon I am leaving on a jet plane for the weirdness that is Austin. Really, their slogan is "Keep Austin Weird." I have been to Austin a handful of times for work, but never strictly for fun so I am very excited to truly experience Austin. If you've never been to Austin- its an odd (but cool) place, hence the slogan. There is no set stereotype- its literally a smorgasbord of politicians, hipsters, metal heads, old hippies, college kids, yuppies, and more. There is literally something for everyone in Austin, and that's what makes it so cool! Not to mention all the unique bars and restaurant concepts that only make sense in Austin (for real, there is a bar INSIDE a garage called Garage Bar we are planning on going!).

The second part to this post is about why I'm going to Austin. I'm going on a girls trip for one of my best friends 30th birthdays. I want to make a note here about spending time with your girlfriends- its important. Making time for your friends and going on trips together is a great way to bond and celebrate your friendship! Often times we are so consumed with other things that we don't make enough time for our loved ones and friends. So, remember to make the time- and bite the bullet when your friends say they want to go on a girls trip and GO! Here's to you, ladies- FAB Friday for FAB Friends!
