Blonde in the District in Austin

The Austin, TX Edition is finally here! As you have read in my last post, I went on a girls trip this past weekend- and it was beyond boisterous. We seriously had the time of our lives, so I want to share with you all the fun things we did in hopes you may do the same if you ever visit Austin, TX. Here's to Keeping Austin Weird.....

Night 1: Arrival in Austin

Dinner at Searsucker then parking deck party at Garage Bar. Garage Bar is a bar literally IN a garage and it was awesome- staff was friendly and the overall feel was vibrant and fun!

By Night: Hotel Driskill and 6th Street

We decided to hit "Dirty 6th" on Saturday with our newly purchased masks from Lucy in Disguise. We started classy at the Hotel Driskill- a must for a feel of old Texas, then bar hopped on 6th Street to people watch and party until the wee hours of the morning- another must, if only for the experience.

What I Wore:

Black Shoulder Dress: Context

Tights: HUE

Studded Booties: Jessica Simpson

Blue Quilted Mini Affair Bag: Rebecca Minkoff from Nordstrom Rack

Layered Necklaces: Stella & Dot & House of Harlow

With our Lucy in Disguise masks on 6th Street

Day 3: Brunch, Bars, and Live Music

For brunch, we hit Second Bar & Kitchen for prosecco and bites. After brunch, we went to Handlebar, which is like an adult playground fit with rooftop bar, huge jenga blocks, and even a see-saw! After we see-sawed til our hearts content, we decided to visit "dirty 6th" again as it was our last night. We wound up at the Chugging Monkey and watched amazing, live music by artist Adam Rodgers.

What I Wore:

Black dress: ASOS

Floral Kimono: Express

Tights: HUE

Booties: Trouve from Nordstrom

Headband: World Market

Necklace: Aldo

See-sawing at Handlebar

Stay weird, Austin!

XOXO
