1 Year Celebrations of Blonde in the District!

It's with much excitement that I write this post, as it's the 1 year anniversary of my launch of Blonde in the District!

The past year has gone by fast and been so very successful. I've met wonderful new blogger friends, made great connections and collaborations with local DC businesses, and started writing for NYC based online magazine, StyleBlend, as a contributing fashion and lifestyle writer!

While blogging isn't easy, it's very fulfilling for me and I enjoy every minute of the creative process that goes into each post. This is my dream and I thank you all for following the journey in the past year and aiding to push me further. It's because of you that I blog!! If theres one thing I have learned over the last year, its to take risks and bet on yourself. Remember- dreams do come true, if only we wish hard enough.

I celebrated today with a trip to the new Milkbar at the City Center over a soft serve cereal milk, cold brew, and birthday cake truffles. The famous NYC hotspot just opened in DC this past Friday and it has been welcomed with open arms and sweet appetites by locals. I also went Friday for opening day with friends and enjoyed the bagel bomb and cornflake marshmallow cookie- which were delicious and worth the 30 minute wait! I urge you to head to Milkbar and see what all the hype is about- but get there very early to avoid lines!
