This week's street style is all about faux. Faux fur and leather, that is! My pink faux fur was begging to be worn, so I decided to take it out for some much needed wear time. Plus, fun fur jackets are all the rage right now and if you don't already have one, you should totally consider adding one to your closet. I love the added punch they add to an outfit and their versatility. They can be worn with jeans or leggings for a more casual feel, or a mini dress/skirt for a dressier night out!
I went for the dressier feel, but since it was daytime, instead of wearing a mini dress before noon, I decided on my faux leather leggings (one of my season faves) and a black top to really highlight the pink of the jacket. I also added some extra oomph with the leopard booties. Sure, its a little dressy for daytime, but its a fierce look and as the famous Oscar Wilde said, "You can never be overdressed or overeducated," so I rolled with it!
