Last Friday I had the pleasure of attending the first ever Bubbles & Bloggers Girls Night Out (GNO) party! Our group has been meeting primarily for brunch, however Sarah of District Damsel had the fab idea of us getting together for a girls night to sip bubbles and venture out to SAX Nightclub to paint the town red.
The thing I love most about a GNO is getting all dolled up and fancy. I thought all week about what I was going to wear. I knew I wanted something va-va-voom since we were going to SAX, so I opted for my custom CEO Skirt from local DC designer ZOPHIA which fits me like a glove, a deep-plunging blouse from Forever 21+ and my fave leopard calf hair booties I got on mega sale from Lord & Taylor. I topped the look with some fun rings from Old Navy and Express (check out a similar alternative here), and my favorite purse the Gucci Soho Metallic Leather Disco Bag.
Sarah hosted us at her awesome apartment for bubbles and snacks before hitting the town. We had a great time discussing our blogs and running creative ideas by each other, which reminded me how great it is to have a supportive blog network! We then hit SAX nightclub to dance the night away and watch the amazing performances.

SAX is a modern cabaret and is seriously the most beautiful place in DC. Its decor inside transports you to a vintage Paris burlesque club and is absolutely gorgeous. You can opt for bar or table service while listening to their fun-vibing DJ's and watch the cabaret-style performances every 20 minutes. This place is one of a kind in DC and is definitely my favorite place to go for a GNO!
