Makeup Monday: Winter Glam Wonderland!

For today's Makeup Monday, I am dishing about an upcoming makeup event, hosted by yours truly along with my friend and DC Pro Makeup Artist, Bianca Perez of F.N.2.S Artistry. I met Bianca over the summer at the iConiq Style App Launch Party and she told me about an event she was having, Makeovers For a Cause, and I knew I had to attend. Her makeover tutorial class was 2 hours and covered everything- face care, eyes, brows, lips, and contouring and the proceeds from the class were donated to a local DC charity. The class was seriously fantastic, and I knew I wanted to work with Bianca for a future event.

Well, lucky for us the future has come and we have put our heads together for an event that is sure to be fantastic! Our holiday themed event, Winter Glam Wonderland, will be a one-stop-shop for all things holiday glam. There will be one-on-one holiday themed makeup tutorials with local DC Pro Makeup Artists, DIY quick hair tutorials with Illusions of Georgetown, shopping for gifts at our DC retailers pop-up shops, amazing raffle prizes, fabulous swag bags, photography, live models, and cocktails- with proceeds from ticket and raffle sales going to My Sisters Place DC, a shelter for domestically abused women and children.

I'm personally inviting you (and your friends!) to attend the glamorous event and kick-off this festive season with us, all while supporting a cause! The event will take place on Thursday, December 8 from 6:30pm-9pm at one of my fave DC spots, Bourbon. Tickets ($25) are available on Eventbrite and include the makeup and hair tutorials, fab swag bags, live entertainment, access to pop-up shops, drink specials, and one raffle ticket. In addition, dontations for the shelter will be accepted at the door and guests will recieve a complimentary glass of champs in exchange for the donation! Accepted dontations include: diapers (all sizes), Baby Wipes, Washcloths (new),Toys (For all ages - No guns or any toys that elicit violence), Educational activities (For all ages), Books (For all ages), Gift Cards (Grocery stores, Target & Walmart).
