NYFW: The Style

I can't believe its already been 2 weeks since I was living it up at NYFW! Seriously, where is the time going? Spring will be here before we know it, but the good thing about the time moving fast is September Fashion Week will be here soon, too! If you're intrigued on what NYFW was like or you have interest in attending in September, be sure to check my NYFW: The Experience post where I rated the top 10 takeaways. Today I'm sharing my NYFW outfits and style. While we went for just a short 2 days, Roxanne and I packed what was close to a weeks worth of outfits, lol, because you know, we're girls and we love style. And, of course like any time you over pack, I only utilized about 40% of what I brought. I did pick out my outfits ahead of time, with some leniency on the last look as I threw it together last minute when the original bottoms I wanted to wear, were just not working for me this day. Lesson learned in this case, that is IS ok to over-pack sometimes and have backup options in case of fashion emergencies!

Also, on a side note- can we talk about the fabulous street art that is ALL over NYC? Finding graffiti and art filled walls everywhere we went was just an added treat/perk to all the fashion. My favorite street art spotting was the kitty mural in Look 2, which looks just like my cat, Chloe!

BITD NYFW Look 1:

Blonde in the District - NYFW NYC

My first NYFW look was planned with comfort/warmth/street style in mind. Since we were going to be on the move for hours the first day, I decided on this outfit since it was comfortable- both clothing and shoe wise, it was warm, and I just couldn't go to NYFW and not rock this Whistle & Wild jacket and ELOQUII bodysuit!

BITD NYFW Look 2:

Blonde in the District ELOQUII

To visit the ELOQUII headquarters, I *obvi* had to rock some of my new ELOQUII items! I decided on this lace dress to take me from brunch, to the ELOQUII HQ, to Birchbox in SoHo. I love this dress for its versatility! I wore it with heavy tights for warmth and my rose gold pink booties to bring out the red of the dress, layered with a black wrap jacket, and a faux fur stole and matching ear muffs to keep me warm on the cold city streets.

Outfit details: Dress | Jacket (similar) | Faux Fur Stole (similar) | Tights | Booties | Sunnies | Ear Muffs (similar) | Handbag | Purse Pom | Kitty Gloves |

BITD NYFW Look 3:

To attend the Street Style show, I knew I wanted to rock some DC brands. It just so happened my friend and shirt designer of the Meet the Curator DC lifestyle brand, happened to get in some new shirts before I left for NYC. Since the timing was perfect, I knew I had to rock MTC to this show and rep DC. I paired the MTC shirt with my Zophia CEO skirt, my BITD DIY moto, my leopard jacket, and some Vans to wrap the look together.

Outfit details: Meet the Curator Shirt (Coming soon) | Zophia CEO Skirt | Tights | Shoes | Handbag | Necklace- vintage belt turned necklace thanks to my Stylist friend, Marisa's recommendation | Leopard Jacket |

XOXO
