I am so excited for todays FAB Friday post. This post is SO FAB and I've been keeping it a secret for some time now, and the anticipation of sharing this with you all has been killing me!
It's with much anticipation that I announce the new ELOQUII NOIR Collection- a black tie capsule collection that was inspired by the glamour and glitz of Paris - and I'm even more excited to announce that I have teamed with ELOQUII on the NOIR campaign! As you all are well aware, ELOQUII is one of my go-to brands that I work with and I absolutely love them. In the course of just a few months, they have helped me shaped some of my personal style and have encouraged me to try new styles and patterns. Their clothing is some of my favorite in the industry, and it just got even better with the NOIR collection.
The NOIR collection was inspired by Paris - another love of mine. In fact, I worked with ELOQUII during my trip to the City of Lights in May for a collaboration for the XOQ Blog, where I shared my top 3 things to do in Paris, photographed by Katie Donnelly Photography. That collaboration is still one of my favorites and I love that I was asked to participate in the NOIR campaign, as it allowed me to channel my memories of ELOQUII in Paris.
For the photographs, I shot with my DC go-to photographer, Arielle Lewis Studios, and we hit what I have always considered to be a little piece of Paris in DC- the Federal Triangle courtyard entrance and steps in front of the Andrew W Mellon Auditorium. This has always been one of my favorite areas to shoot in DC, since it reminds me of Paris.
ELOQUII hand selected the NOIR Coquette Dress for me before it was even in mass production and sent a sample image of the dress. When the dress arrived, I was stunned. The intricate champagne-almost rose gold- brocade and the delicate feathers across the chest of the silhouette are simply gorgeous. I felt like an angel when I tried it on, and I love that it is a light color, as I normally shy away from light colors. There ELOQUII goes again, getting me outside of my style comfort zone for a massive win. This dress is a serious stunner and photos don't do all of its justice.
There are a number of other influencers who were asked to participate in the campaign- one being my great friend Angelica Talan, and some blogger role models (oh hey, The 12ish Style!) and peers, with Tess Holliday headlining the collection. I am honored to be a part of this campaign with such fabulous body positive women.
