...B-A-N-A-N-A-S!! Ok now who else has Gwen Stefani's Holla Back Girl stuck in their head? I was inspired to write today's post all about fruit prints after ordering this ELOQUII 'Pina Coolada' dress.
Everyone knows I love a great print, and this dress literally screams fun. I saw it online and instantly thought of Chiquita Banana and decided I had to have it. Online its cute, but in person and on its even better! I can already foresee its going to be on heavy rotation this summer. I say this ALL.THE.TIME. but one reason I love wearing prints is how I feel while wearing them. Wearing fun prints makes me feel happy, and that definitely shows through in my outward appearance.
When I started my blog, building confidence through style was my main blog purpose- and it still is today. So many people look at style and are intimidated due to other insecurities, but I'm urging you to look at style as a way to enhance your confidence- no matter your shape or size- and wear things that make you feel great, because when you look good, you feel good!
Here are a few of my tips for looking at style as a confidence booster, as well as some fun ELOQUII fruit prints, to start building some Chiquita Banana confidence.

Confidence Through Style Tips
1. Look at style as a way to enhance your confidence, not the other way around. I can't tell you how many times I've heard someone say, "I could never wear that," or "I can't pull that off." Why not? Don't let your confidence restrict you from wearing something great- in fact, when you wear something great your confidence will soar! Approach your personal style as a way to build and shape your self confidence even further.
2. Find styles that make you happy. Whether its a certain print, color, or cut of a piece of clothing, find your faves and build your closet upon things you feel great in.
3. Try the trends and be fearless, but if a trend truly doesn't feel right on you- don't wear it. There is nothing worse than being uncomfortable in an item. Ultimately wear what you love, and if you are questioning an item, wear it strategically.
