Ok, so the title of this post is literally how I felt during PRIDE two weekends ago. If you missed my recap post about participating in the DC Capital Pride Parade, you can read it here. What I didn't discuss, however, is my rainbow unicorn getup I wore for Pride!
When I got word from Catherine we'd been invited to participate in the Pride Parade with DC PFLAG, the first thing that went through my mind was "What am I going to wear?!" Luckily, last spring I scored a colorful rainbow printed dress from Ashley Stewart that would be perfect for the occasion. Pride weekend is full of everything rainbow, glitter, sparkly, and over-the-top, so I wanted to show up prepared. My rainbow dress totally fit the bill, and it was perfect with the heat as it was breezy and it didn't show sweat <and trust when I say I was sweating my unicorn a$$ off in the 90 degree heat!>.
While I searched high and low for my exact dress online, it is no where to be found, BUT, I did find a number of alternatives that are totally similar!
