This year for Small Business Saturday I teamed up with American Express to promote shopping small and shopping local!
Founded by American Express, Small Business Saturday was created to rally shoppers, small business owners, and organizations across the country in support of small businesses that make their communities vibrant.

As a small business owner of BITD myself, and the wife of a small business owner, it is so important to me to promote other local, small businesses in my community. This weekend, I'm inviting you to shop small and shop local!
On Saturday, November 24, American Express is partnering with Etsy for the second year in a row to celebrate online small business owners from around the US! Etsy sellers will be hosting pop-up markets in San Francisco, Austin, DC, and Boston as destinations to shop locally crafted, one-of-a-kind gifts fir the holiday season! The pop-up in DC, District Rebel, will take place at Union Market from 11am-5pm and I will be there the first part of the day! I hope to see you there!
I also want to shout out to two of my favorite local small businesses who make my blog possible- Arielle Lewis Studios and Illusions of Georgetown and Shirlington. Without you, I wouldn't have amazing photo content or amazing hair.
XOXO
